Birmingham SHOUT Gay + Lesbian Film Festival wants YOU to nominate someone for the H.A.G. of the Year Award as part of their inaugural fundraiser, PROM: The Sequel. Every GLBT person has at least one ally in their life who selflessly contributes to our community. It’s time to say thank you!
Anyone who wishes to nominate someone for H.A.G. of the Year must download the form by clicking here. Submit it, along with a photo of the nominee, the nominee’s signature of consent, and a brief summary of why the nominee is worthy of being H.A.G. of the Year, to the SHOUT office via fax (205-324-2488), mail (2312 First Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203), or email Clay.
A summary of the nominee’s information will be included, along with the nominee’s photo, in our PROM: the Sequel program. Complete summaries will be posted at the prom for attendees to review and vote.
Voting for H.A.G. of the Year will only commence at PROM: The Sequel. The winner will be determined by who gets the most votes.
