Birmingham SHOUT Gay + Lesbian Film Festival wants YOU to run for King or Queen of their inaugural fundraiser, PROM: The Sequel. The coveted prom king and queen crowns will go to the entrants who can raise the most money in support of Birmingham SHOUT.
Anyone can run for King or Queen, in whichever category they identify with. Organizations may sponsor one entry into each category. All organizations who sponsor nominees receive a half-page ad in the PROM Program.
Ready to don the crown? To nominate yourself or another deserving individual, click here to download the form. Return it, along with a color photo of the nominee(s), to the SHOUT office (2312 1st Ave N.) by June 6 , 2008. You may also submit the form and photo electronically by emailing Tom.
Online voting begins May 23 and ends June 18. Nominees will be added to this page as they are submitted. Find your favorite and click the appropriate link to cast your vote. Remember: $1 = 1 vote.
You must be 19+ to attend prom and run for king or queen.
